I have studied International Business in the University of Limerick, Ireland. My elective modules focus for the most part on Strategic Management, Risk and Finance sectors, with a slightly lesser focus on both Human Resource Management and Marketing areas, giving me a broad overview of what I believe to be key areas in any business. I am also studying Spanish, at which I have greatly excelled during my internship in Spain.As part of these studies, I have worked for Domino Printing Spain, based in their Madrid office on a 7 month internship. Within my position in Domino, I was tasked with the role of helping develop HR processes and procedures for their Spanish operations, including both work on the daily HR activities as well as on some more long term projects, such as developing employee policies. Previous to this, during both my final years in school and first years in university, I worked in the Alcock and Brown Hotel in Clifden, Ireland. The fact that this hotel is run by my family gave me some fantastic insights into the running of a business. Having worked in every area of the hotel in my first couple of years there (Restaurant, Reception, Housekeeping etc.), I gained an in depth knowledge of each department within the business, allowing me to assist my father more and more with the management of the business and eventually become one of the hotel's duty managers. I consider the experience I gained here to be invaluable, and I have no doubt that it will stand to me throughout my career.In my spare time I enjoy both watching and playing sports such as football, rugby and golf. All 3 have had a huge impact in my life, helping to teach me some of the vales I regard so highly today - Teamwork, leadership, respect, hard work and honesty to name just a few.
