During my first 18 months at Pilgrims Europe, I initiated, led, and implemented projects that contributed £1.38 million to the bottom line. This was achieved by optimising existing equipment, securing Capex for payback projects, and implementing continuous process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. These successes were attained and sustained by collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D, engineering, and operations to unlock efficiencies by pushing the boundaries to breakthrough performance. These include the completion of food safety validations for cooking ovens as well as quality control, operational efficiency, health and safety, and required documentation.I have had the opportunity to manage a range of projects including collaborating on a R&D project with a global leader in food processing equipment to develop new processing methods, including innovative automation technologies.
