The Linsmore Hotel was established on December 7th, 1934, the same year the Province of Ontario started licencing saloons. As a hotel and tavern, the Linsmore Tavern flourished as one of the local pubs along the popular Danforth Ave for years!The ownership of the Linsmore changed in 1982. Those same owners remain to this day. It is now one of the last remaining original hotel/taverns in Toronto. There is a long history behind the Linsmore Tavern, and it seems like everyone has a story to tell about the place.As the Linsmore Tavern transitioned into a full time live music venue, we have experienced a resurgence in popularity.
