Hello, my name is Ryan Matlock. I am an IT professional and striving analyst who helps companies make educated and effective decisions to their business using data analysis.I am currently working at Modis contracted to a locate company in my hometown, called Erie Insurance. I have had varies roles with Modis over the last year and a half, one as a software deployment technician and another as a Support Analyst. When it comes to preforming data analysis to help out my companies, it is important to establish good data practices. Utilizing data tools, building new reports, modifying visuals or setting up data structures are all key steps I take to help business leaders understand the needs to make smart decisions in their industry. Whatever requirements come across in a project, an experience background is needed to make well educated decisions. Data analysis skills along side varies system like SQL Developer, Maximo, Tableau, Microsoft Excel etc. have now made it easier than ever to use data to make efficient changes in company business practices. The practicality of data analysis in the modern business world has not only made fun and easy ways to solve problems and provide new opportunities, but has also elevated the possibility to make actual change to world. With all the information in the world, impact is no longer a question on what needs done, it is more on how are we going to change it.
