CurrentI oversee communications and public affairs for the largest local funder of art and culture in the United States. My job covers both big picture strategy and day-to-day management of projects and team members. As anyone familiar with working on a small team will understand, we all take on responsibilities that don't completely match our job descriptions. I'm a press flack, speechwriter, event planner, project manager, fundraiser, government relations lead, digital communicator, administrator, and more - sometimes all in one day. Working alongside colleagues who are committed to public service and to supporting our city's stunningly diverse cultural community makes the job endlessly fascinating, challenging, rewarding, and fun.
