Oversee rotating machinery and fixed equipment for a $800M plant with 97% availability. I am the senior principal engineer responsible for all Bently Nevada racks (19) and System1. Made multiple changes to design of equipment due to manufacturing engineering oversights (including pumps under/over size, individual components within equipment, and sometimes complete equipment change out). I do not have any direct reports right now, but give direction to both mechanics and operators on how to handle situations. I reviewed and corrected all standard operating procedures for all critical machinery to make sure the machines are started correctly (and so that they don't need me there every time they start anything). I also assist with troubleshooting major machinery problems with other sites within the Celanese corporation.
