Over the last ten years I have worked in the grocery business. I attended DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa where I studied management, marketing, and sales. I have many awards to my name from conferences where we had to exhibit skills in the field of management and marketing. I enjoy working with customers and talking with them to work out what problems they may have. Currently I work at Fareway in Ankeny. Over the years my responsibilities have been inventory control, night manager, manager of a department, and schedule writer. I enjoy having one on one interaction with the customers on a everyday basis. For four years I have also helped raise money for the MDA. I am the lead event coordinator in charge of contacting the venue, contacting sponsors, and sending out reminders to participants. In my free time I enjoy bowling and going to racing events.
