What more can someone say about being a developer? We're basically magicians on computers when you think about it. At least that's how I feel sometimes...creating a fully working website or application from scratch is a daunting task to those who aren't familiar with it. To me though I treat it more as a game, you put all the pieces together and what you get is a functioning and responsive application. And that's what really brought me to becoming a developer, I wanted to create things (or fix things depending on the perspective) that people will know and talk about or at the very least develop something that will go towards helping people. I've had many jobs in the past before becoming a developer and if there is one thing I can take away from each of them it is that time is better spent doing something you love instead of "grinding out a paycheck".
