I am a student at Sam Houston State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History degree with plans on pursuing a Masters in History with the eventual goal of a Doctorate degree. In my studies I have learned about various periods in history from courses such as Russian History, Middle Eastern History, Survey courses, as well as courses that covered World War II, the American Civil War, and many more. Each of these courses have rounded my education and allowed me to develop a further drive for learning as well as an interest in becoming a professor.In my free time I volunteer for a museum, or study various aspects of history. In addition to volunteering and studying history I participate in Living History events as an american soldier in WWI or WWII each of these eras are very interesting time periods and leave a lot of questions that many want answered.
