With over nine years of experience in recreation services, globalization and diversity experience, mental health experience, and substance use experience, I am a passionate and dedicated leader in my field. As the Assistant Director at HOPE VALLEY INC, I assist in the oversight of daily operations and management of a large and diverse team of professionals and residential staff members. I also coordinate and facilitate various programs and activities that promote the well-being, recovery, and empowerment of our clients and their families. Some of my skills include individual and group counseling, family counseling, adolescent care, advocacy for vulnerable populations, staff supervision, event planning and management, client relations, globalization, the implementation of diverse and ethical practices, parks and recreation management, and program development. My core competencies are leadership, communication, collaboration, inclusivity, and problem-solving.
