Manager at Portsmouth International Port and Portico responsible for all aspects of managing the provision of security staff across the 2 sites in order to achieve the successful deliver of contractual operational and financial targets, ensuring full compliance to customer’s terms of business, service level agreements (SLA’s), health and safety.

South England

Operations manager for AP Security where I am responsible for management of staff at events with clients including the Ageas Bowl and Southampton FC. I also help out on other operations across the country on a variety of events whether it be field or site based.

I am responsible for recording all contact received into the office whether it be phone, email etc. I then have to analyse the information provided against the history of the subject and from there look at the risks that are being reported and then designate the appropriate follow up action. I would also provide advice/ support as required and signpost.

Gosport

Provide security to the venue and ensure that both myself and other members of staff are working to set standards completing relevant tasks ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all those within the premises whilst providing exceptional levels of customer service in order to promote the business in a positive light and ensure the happiness/ satisfaction of.

Deliver training in maths, English and IT in a temporary role. I would be assigned learners that needed assistance in these areas in order to gain their NVQ qualification. I would identify what gaps they had in knowledge and then work on filling these gaps along boosting their confidence in the subject as so to improve the chance of success when they sit.

• Act as operations/ contracts manager (due to the supervisor role being an out of office hours service) Ensuring all sites were fully manned as agreed in the contracts and that should any shifts become available find an.

South England

• Regency supplies various types of security ranging from static guards, event staff and door supervision. I am responsible for managing the contracts all of the venues that the company were responsible ensuring that not.
• Ensuring that all venues were manned as required and within service level agreements and ISO standards
• Preparing and writing risk assessments
• Carrying out audits to ensure that all staff are working to company/ customer expectations and HSSE regulations
• Recruitment
• Carrying out appraisals and disciplinaries of staff (and any other man management actions)

Gosport

• Creating and delivering training packages.
• Liaise with other departments to help develop existing software packages that were being used or if necessary request what would be required from a new system if the existing packages could not carry out the work.
• Dealing with customer complaints.
• Creating reports and databases.
• Keeping an inventory of all pieces of equipment within the department.

Gosport

All aspects of running the bar/ nightclub including ensuring the highest level of customer service was provided, all aspects of staff management and making sure that all sales targets were achieved whilst maintaining a pleasant and safe environment. I was also responsible for the stock and cash management of the business along with completing financial.

Wembley And Twickenham National Stadium, Earls Court Arena

Supervise a security team checking that all staff were working to expected levels to ensure the safety and well being of all those around the venue during any of the events on site. The nature of the events were varied from large sporting events, business conferences to music acts.
