Assisted with maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds in sour gas and sweet gas facilities. Tasks included blinding, isolation and nitrogen purging of piping networks and vessels. working in cooperation with contractors preforming caustic soda cleaning of piping networks and vessels. Atmospheric testing of confined spaces. Confined space entries cleaning and repairing separator towers. Confined space entries cleaning vessels by dry ice blasting. Heat exchanger repairs and cleaning using compressed air. Disassembly and reassembly of piping networks. General labour and clean up. Preformed pigging of sour gas pipelines to mitigate liquid loading of pipelines (under air 100% using SCBAs). Assisted with pigging operations using multiple pigs and a chemical in sequence to apply a corrosion resistant film to the internal surface of the pipeline (under air 100% using SCBAs). Assisted in smart pigging sour gas pipelines using electronic smart pigs to determine pipeline wall thickness and to identify existing structural faults. ( under air 100% using SCBAs).Operated an on site emergency fire suppression truck during extended periods purging and flaring. Operated an on site emergency shower trailer/eyewash station for workers handling corrosive mixtures and extremely toxic chemicals.

Transported construction materials and equipment to the lease area. Assisted in the production, assembly and torquing of small bore piping systems and components. Preformed hydro testing of small bore piping systems. Collection and disposal of waste materials. Demobilization of all equipment and atco trailers from the lease area. Final cleanup of the lease area.
