University of Vermont graduate ('22) with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology that concentrated in Crime & Criminal Justice. I also minored in Health and Society. My academic experiences introduced me to the desire to enter a field where I can support and treat individuals in need.Upon graduating, I entered a Mental Health Case Manager position where I guided individuals who were clients of the mental health agency, Howard Center. These individuals had diagnoses of Substance Use disorders that were co-occurring with varying major mental health disorders. My passion for social work began here while I created treatment plans with my clients and assisted them in identifying their goals to sobriety and independency. Once treatment plans were established, I worked with my clients to achieve their identified goals. After moving to Denver, Colorado, I entered my current position as an Intake Caseworker for Jefferson County Children Youth Family and Adult Protection where I continued to support others in disadvantageous circumstances. As I assessed for child safety, I was also able to build a supportive relationship with the families on my caseload, in order to connect them with appropriate community resources.Currently, I am working in the role of an Outreach Specialist for CNY Fertility. As CNY's core mission is affordability and accessibility, I am working to reach Women's Health providers to inform them on how our practice can best benefit their patients' experiencing infertility.
