My name is Ryan and I'm a Regional Support Engineer at Beckhoff Automation. I went to college at San Jose State University and achieved a degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors. Even though I pursued a purely technical degree I did a few business ventures including reselling shoes and various other products and managed to do over $250,000 in revenue throughout 2.5 years. This drive to explore ventures outside of my technical realm represents my goal to be a well-rounded professional which is why I decided to pursue a more business oriented technical role in the Talent Development Program. I hope to strengthen my personable and commercial skills while also learning about and applying Beckhoff technology to various industry applications to guide and support customers.
