After the sale of Spot Devices, Spot's parent company, Haws Co, asked me to join a new business venture that utilized some of the IoT technology we built at Spot. This was a software company, so I transitioned into a project management and system architect role. I Developed and led the successful installation of three pilot systems across two mine sites, and worked with Business Development to successfully acquire new customers. I also architected and sold custom software solutions, that had potential for additional product lines. The mining industry was not producing the results that Haws had expected and they decided to close Cirrus Systems, and launch a new company, Onstream.
