If you’re going to try, go all the way, otherwise, don’t even start. This is something I have framed in my room. Ever since I was a kid my parents taught me to try with all my heart and never give up. Whether it be trying a sport I had no intention to play or a project for a class I hated. I graduated from Scottsdale Christian Academy located here in Arizona. I enjoyed the classes and learned a ton of valuable lessons throughout my time there. Some of my classes weren’t the most interesting but I made the most of my time there. One of the most important things I was taught there was preparation for college.Attending Arizona State University seemed like a daunting task to begin with. I was a little concerned at first if I would succeed or get lost in the crowd. I could not have been more wrong. The teachers have been super helpful and have provided personal attention to help me with specific needs. I began studying sports business but later, switched over to computer information systems which I feel is better suited for me. I love to be active and play sports with my friends in my free time. I plan to keep studying this and graduate with a bachelor's degree of science. A full-time job is always something I had looked forward to when I was a child. My great grandfather started an aerospace manufacturing shop before I was born. When I was a small child, I had always been around the shop and watched how it functions. This helped me gain a better appreciation for the time and effort that goes into running a company; from the janitor all the way to the CEO, everyone matters. I started working there about 3 years ago and I am still working there. I have been learning and picking up new things every day, whether that be driving shipments across phoenix or working in purchasing. I can see myself working there long term but who knows what is in store in the next chapter. My goal is to do what I enjoy and see where that takes me.
