In my role as IT Manager at No5 Barristers Chambers, I have undertaken a comprehensive role overseeing the IT operations for our Birmingham, Bristol, and London offices. My responsibilities encompass managing all IT systems, from infrastructure to software, while leading significant projects such as the successful implementation of the 8x8 VoIP phone systems, multi-factor authentication solutions, and a full office move.My role also involves consulting on IT strategies, managing procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and high-quality solutions, and overseeing the support desk to provide prompt and effective assistance to all users. A key part of my responsibilities includes relationship management, maintaining clear communication with barristers and staff, and ensuring a high level of service tailored to their needs.I am particularly committed to supporting barristers by providing personalized inductions and ongoing assistance to facilitate their work. This dynamic and multifaceted role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a focus on system optimization, and strong interpersonal skills, all of which I consistently deliver.

Over the course of several years, I have cultivated and managed an e-commerce enterprise, achieving the distinction of a top-rated seller on eBay with an impeccable track record of 100% customer feedback. Furthermore, owing to my extensive experience and expertise in the field, I received an invitation to contribute as a support agent within the new eBay Limitless system, a role that underscores my commitment to excellence in customer service and e-commerce operations.

During my time at Anchor I have managed multiple large projects for financial software. My main responsibilities were; to liaise with key stakeholders and manage projects using Agile and Prince2 methods. Report back directly to senior business directors and produce high level solutions. Due to the unexpected premature birth of my child and the health issues which followed, I parted ways with Anchor to become my daughter’s carer.

While working with HAZ Technology I have been based in multiple schools across the Midlands, including George Dixon, Brookfield’s, Hallmoor, Brays special school plus many more. I have gained a wide range of experience in the needs and requirements of different types of schools. I have also project managed large installations across the country. I have experience working with children of all ages and special requirements. I have managed the procurement of school hardware and software across multiple locations.

After meticulous planning and development, I successfully applied for a business loan from Virgin Start-ups for my company, Nutrino Sports. My responsibilities in the company encompass a diverse range of areas including business management, finance, marketing and advertising, social media management, product development, and more.Initially, Nutrino Sports was operating from two locations - Redditch Kingfisher shopping center and Revolution Fitness in Worcester. Regrettably, the closure of the business became necessary due to the adverse impact of new commercial gyms opening in proximity to Revolution Fitness and the sudden hike in rent at Kingfisher shopping center.

My duties as IT manager for Greenwood academy were to provide the total technological operation, maintenance and development of the school. During my time at Greenwood academy, I have gained valuable experience dealing with budgets, deadlines and procurement. My Duties while employed as a 2nd /3rd Line support technician at Greenwood academy included providing support to all teaching, office, support staff and students. Server and network maintenance tasks. Project work and consulting. Hardware and software procurement and implementation.• Actively involved in the rollout of Ruckus managed wireless system. (Hardware) • Involved with the rollout of Microsoft office 365 and the on-going support including Exchange 2016.• Vast experience in providing support face to face, over the phone or remotely using Impero.• Project planned, procurement and implementation of long distance WIFI using Antenna installed on building roof to provide network access to the outside workspace.

During my time working with MET, I have gained a broader understanding of large business environments. As a result, I have had much greater exposure to enterprise level server and network environments. A large percentage of my work was field based supporting many different business sectors including construction, education, financial and property industry. While onsite my main duties were to provide support to large groups of people, install and configure solutions, manage server-side duties and performed preventative maintenance. While working with MET, I have become more self-independent and proficient at planning out my duties while staying within SLA’s. After graduating from Zenos Microsoft Academy and finding limited job opportunities, I established my own computer repair and retail business with the help of a small loan from The Prince's Trust.During this venture, I developed a diverse skill set including managing tax and finances, marketing, and delivering exceptional customer service.As a self-employed entrepreneur, I gained valuable experience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of customer needs at a young age.Key responsibilities included providing hardware, software, network support, and managing small projects for home and small business users.

Temporary role My main duties at the helpdesk were to log incoming calls, troubleshoot a variety of operating systems and provide remote support to customers. I also had some on-site experience with customers. This role was mainly 1st line support but had varied tasks day to day.
