Used this data to focus Product Manufacturing resources on improving performance; Facilitated the use of reliability analysis tools and systems including Tap Root, DE & RCA; Monitored, analyzed and provided detailed reports on operating practices to identify opportunities to improve overall performance (cost, reliability, capacity). Assessed and questioned the suitability of current equipment strategies and had maintenance strategies modified/changed where necessary. Worked closely with Planners, Team leaders, other Reliability engineers, Superintendents - Maintenance and Operations. Reviewed new equipment proposals for fitness of task and provided critical spares lists, defined maintenance strategies and ensured master data is entered into the CMM (SAP) system prior to equipment arriving on site. Attended weekly asset management meetings to provide reliability support and ensure identified reliability improvements are included in the schedule. Made sound judgments to ensure asset integrity is maintained at all times and that short term imperatives do not put the assets at risk or reduce long term asset utilization. Used change management processes to ensure asset drawings, manuals, strategies and procedures maintain their currency. Provided a monthly and weekly Reliability report detailing reliability concerns and successes.
