Project Management:Created budgets, supervised up to four engineers/project, managed design and construction schedules, handled client relationships, coordinated structural design efforts and drawings w/ the design team, and supervised construction of buildings w/ field engineers for Connecticut’s Special Inspections program.Structural Engineering Design:Designed and detailed structures inclusding new construction and renovations of historic buildings. Focused on design of educational facilities and high-end residential design, w/ additional experience in design of commercial office buildings, an $18 million state-of-the-art police facility, and a $22 million YMCA addition. Worked with clients to select and design structural system on their projects by choosing appropriate building materials, designing and detailing their buildings w/ their scheduling concerns in mind, and adapting to the changing economy.
