I oversaw the day-to-day operation of a small newsroom serving Northwest Indiana. Our staff of eight reporters, photographers, and anchors produced a daily 30 minute newscast for Lakeshore Public Television. In addition, three dedicated radio reporters covered the news for Lakeshore Public Radio.I also appeared on-air as necessary.

I was responsible for organization and implementation of external communications for Allstate's Northwest Region -- which consisted of operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii. I responded to media inquiries and assisted more than 650 Allstate agents with building their businesses through positive media events. Between 2003 and 2007, I worked in Allstate's Florida Region as a communications specialist.

I was responsible for planning and execution of weekend news coverage for Bay News 9, a 24-hour local cable news channel serving the Tampa Bay area. This included frequent contact with reporters in seven bureaus, monitoring police and public service radios, and satellite feeds. I also assisted the weekday assignment desk with coverage of breaking news utilizing microwave, satellite, and helicopter newsgathering equipment.

I oversaw newsroom operations for the ABC television affiliate in Evansville, Indiana. This included planning of weekday newcasts, maintenance of the assignment file, and newsroom computer administration. I assisted reporters with newsgathering using microwave, satellite, and helicopter. In addition, I produced the weekday 5 p.m. newscast. During my career at WEHT, I produced newscasts in every daypart.

I served as a correspondent for WEVV's Owensboro, Kentucky bureau.In addition, I anchored weekend newscasts on the station's talk radio venture, WGAB-FM.

I prepared and delivered a one hour evening newscast on a local AM news/talk station, and hourly news updates on a local FM country station. I also covered local events and prepared reports to be aired during morning newscasts.
