As a resident advisor, I work to ensure that students experience safety, lively community, and academic success while residing in ECU dorms.My responsibilities include:• Creating a welcoming community by hosting events within the residence halls.• Keeping residents informed about campus events and news.• Enforcing policies related to campus safety and community conflict.• Documenting incidents that occur within the residence halls.

At Isley Innovation Hub, I train people to use 3D printers, sewing and embroidery machines, power tools, soldering irons, Arduino, and other electronics. My other responsibilities include giving tours, staffing the reception desk, monitoring central phone, email, and chat systems, managing technology resources, and supervising the use of the makerspace. I also assist in scheduling and hosting events held at Isley Innovation Hub.
