As one of the five Corporals stationed at the Alaska Department of Public Safety Academy in Sitka, AK, my primary role is to provide comprehensive training and instruction to aspiring Alaska State Troopers and Municipality Police Officers. This 18-week program equips the recruits with essential skills and knowledge, enabling them to fulfill their duties effectively upon deployment to their respective departments throughout the state.The curriculum, as mandated by Alaska statute, encompasses a wide range of courses, including investigations, firearms training, control tactics, use of force, department policies, emergency vehicle operations, tactical casualty care, and other pertinent subjects. As a result, our graduates are well-prepared to tackle the myriad of challenges they may encounter in their line of duty.

Manage a team of 35 water distribution personnel with a 20 vehicle fleet valued in excess of $4 million USD. Oversee and execute purification and delivery of over 60,000 gallons of potable water to multiple military units. Additionally, serve as the organization’s physical security officer and responsible for the implementation of safety measures for all five sections within the organization. Accomplishments:• Synchronized the planning and execution of the water training program for the fiscal year upon completion of reintegration process. • Rated in the top 15% of Officers in the Battalion Commanders rating scheme.

Baghdad Diplomatic And Support Center

Officer in Charge of all U.S./Iraqi training equipment and ammunition located at Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, Iraq. Worked directly with the Iraqi Army, Iraqi Special Forces (CTS) and the Iraqi Federal Police. Oversaw the divestment, shipments and receiving of over $500,000,000 USD worth of CLVII and CLV (weapons, vehicles and ammunition). Executed movements for all divestments, which included convoys and security operations while leaving BDSC to Iraqi compounds. Maintained close ties and relations with assist and advice teams, which included U.S. Army Special Forces and the Italian Carabinieri.

Iraq

574th CSC Executive Officer supporting Operation Inherent Resolve Iraq 2017. Directly in charge of the headquarters section which includes six non-commissioned officers and three Soldiers. Headquarters oversees all company movement, operations, missions, requirements, and needs in theater. Movement involves the transport of personnel from location to location, equipment via transportation movement requests and air movement requests, and lastly movement from Iraq to the United States. All operations and missions develop in Brigade and are pushed down to the company level. Missions include CLI escorts, CLIII CORs, Iraqi Training equipment Fund, and management of Forward Logistical Elements disbursed throughout Iraq.

Fairbanks Alaska

Managed a team of 68 personnel, 44 pieces of equipment valued at $2 million USD and fuel distribution. Worked with Battalion and Brigade customers, keeping records for all soldiers, which included assessing and counseling them throughout the fiscal year. Assigned as Unit Status Readiness Officer, responsible for recording the deployable readiness of all 200 soldiers and over 300 pieces of equipment.Accomplishments:• Demonstrated technical expertise and impeccable customer service by distributing 85,600 gallons of fuel and 95,000 gallons of potable water to multiple units. • Oversaw all fuel assets for Camp Taji Iraq, totaling over 500,000 gallons of fuel distribution.Unit Status Readiness Officer, responsible for recording the deployable readiness of 574th Quartermaster Company. Brief the Company Commander and Battalion Commander on personnel strength, equipment status, and training readiness.
