Manage AWS Accelerator programs to help early- to growth-stage startups sell into the Public Sector. Accelerator cohorts have been launched in the domains of Space, Sustainable Cities, Healthcare, and Defense around the world. Oversee the program design, implementation, and execution to ensure value is delivered for our customers.

Developed and launched Halcyon Fund to invest in early-stage social entrepreneurs. Worked with an incredible team and Limited Partnership to build an investment vehicle to catalyze some of the highest potential innovations driving both profit and impact.

As the Chief Innovation Officer for Halcyon, I oversaw the Halcyon Incubator, Halcyon Angels, and our social enterprise work, which supports early-stage impact ventures through an immersive, residency-based Incubation program. I cultivate and develop relationships and partnerships in support of the Incubator, contributing to the creation, growth, and sustainability of the program. I am focused on creating an environment where innovative and entrepreneurial ideas can help reimagine how we tackle the big problems we face in society.

At Democracy.com, Ryan focused on making it easier for anyone to get involved and run for elected office. His portfolio included building strategic partnerships with political organizations, user acquisition, and user engagement, and helping to run the D.C. office of Democracy.com.
