I am currently residing and working within Cardiff - UK. I studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Pretoria (RSA) and completed my studies in 2010. Since 2011 I have been working in the mining industry as a Metallurgist mainly. I have worked at three mining operations within South Africa and two within the Democratic Republic on Congo (DRC). I am working as a Project Metallurgical Engineer for a specialized processing plant equipment supplier company currently, as I am interested in seeing the mining industry from a commercial standpoint, compared to the operational experience I have. My greatest hobbies are travel, photography & videography and therefore really enjoy the current role I am in with visiting and developing my relationship with my current & future global clients. I enjoy taking on challenges that assist in my personal and career growth, while using all the experience I have obtained through the years, to assist companies and my colleagues in their own personal growths. I have a passion for all forms of mineral processing (milling, leaching, flotation, water and refining) and grab the opportunities to improve my knowledge in these sectors, when possible.
