I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from North Carolina State University who is currently employed at Northrop Grumman, Space Systems as a mechanical systems intern, with further experience in process manufacturing and automotive design. Throughout my life, I have had a strong passion for mechanical engineering with a specific interest in automotive mechanics. I have taught myself how to repair and rebuild numerous vehicles as a personal engineering passion. With each project, I gained practical engineering experience that I have applied in my professional career.Through engineering internships in manufacturing and quality management, I have gained key insights into the processes that lay the foundation for our industrial society. Through my internship at Volvo Trucks, I gained an understanding of industrial manufacturing and the multitude of complex processes that go into building a truck. These processes require engineers who thoroughly understand how their products will be assembled and the ergonomic requirements of the operators who assemble them. In late 2019 I graduated from the Early College of Forsyth as the first high school student to earn an Associate in Engineering degree. This experience has helped to shape my personal dedication in my engineering career. With any new professional, personal, or academic project I strive to bring forth the most of my personal dedication and passion for mechanical engineering processes.

• Collaborated with Siemens medium-voltage Research and Development (R&D) team to design parts in Siemens NX for 27kV switchgear. Oversaw the process of component design, assembly integration, and workflow release. • Retrofitted outdated switchgear with prototype components for UL testing. Designed, procured, and manufactured all required components for the testing process. • Oversaw wireless electronic temperature-monitoring design and implementation. Designed implementation and installation guide for IntelliSAW and SENSeOR products into Siemens 27kV switchgear.

• Worked with quality engineers to identify the root cause for specific corrosion on certain models of circuit breaker bushings. Performing tests to eliminate potential causes of corrosion while communicating with suppliers and reading through documentation to identify the root source causality. • Used applied engineering and mechanical principles from past internships and automotive experience to perform root cause analysis on failed parts. Applying practical engineering principles to find and test hypotheses of the problem source.
Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina Area
• Designed a data analytics report in PowerBI to track past factory issues in the manufacturing plant. This report allowed engineers to quickly identify key factory issues that could be solved immediately or to escalate issues that were not receiving attention. Report consolidated data from a variety of sources and allowed for quicker access and manipulation. • Constructed a visual map in Excel of the manufacturing plant that visually laid out sections of future project introductions. The plant was broken up into various groups and sub-groups and allowed for engineers to visually see where their projects would impact and the introduction block associated with them. • Updated macros in an outdated Physical Module Marriage Point Evaluation (PMMPE) report. Applied MATLAB understanding to learn Visual Basic (VBA) and redesign outdated code in several key sections. Updating included programming in a linked table of contents system and routing data between all past and future module sheets. • Reviewed the CAD data and process plans for upcoming trucks. Analyzed critical areas of the chassis and reported faults or potential faults (hose rubbing, tooling access, operator ergonomics). Worked with engineers to create reports of issues found and escalate those issues before the production phase.
