During this role I helped to develop the Desk Study component of the MoRPh Estuaries Pro physical habitat assessment tool. I conducted surveys in rural and urban estuaries around the UK in order to gather the data required to develop a set of indices that will form the basis of an Estuary Condition Assessment (ECA).I also ran online and in-person training sessions for MoRPh Estuaries Pro with consultants and MSc students, as well as developing guidance documents for the methodology.

During my management role at the busy Oxford Street Pret A Manger, I co-ordinated teams of employees whilst managing other aspects of the shop including controlling stock and interviewing and training new employees.

Having won a bid on a research grant, I was temporarily employed to continue my research on the distribution of historic coastal landfill sites, identifying those that are at greatest risk of releasing waste through coastal erosion through GIS analysis. This research will produce a paper that could be used to inform where prevention and remediation efforts will be best employed.

As an intern on the Thames Estuary 2100 Project (TE2100) I used ArcGIS to gather data on the number and types of property at risk from flooding in the project area. I compiled my findings into a report that I presented at a team meeting, which went on to inform the projects 2020 Monitoring Review.
