Lead the planning, scoping and approvals for the new desalination plant for Perth.Finalised concept design for the plant the design team and stakeholders, early works and power supply to site. I managed the delivery contract selection, estimating, stakeholder engagement, sustainability and circular economy opportunities for the scope of works. I managed all development approvals and environmental approvals (marine and terrestrial) for the project.I lead our team through the Competitive Alliance Development Stage with two Proponents to deliver designs and costs for the Alkimos Desalination Plant followed by the tender evaluation process. Appointed as Alliance Project Delivery Manager at award of contract.

Working on fast track suite of projects to secure new water sources for Perth Metro and Regional areas.Scoping of works, Engineering design management, procurement/contract management and construction of pump stations, pipelines, drilling of new groundwater abstraction bores and major upgrade of existing water treatment plant.

Acted as Project Director for Regional Wastewater section during the Corporation restructure. Led the team delivering a programme of wastewater plant upgrades, pump station and pressure main construction in Regional Western Australia.

Appointed to deliver major potable water source and supply projects. Most of these have been fast track and politically sensitive projects to prevent rural towns running out of supply due to drying climate. These have required intensive stakeholder engagement and management, project planning, procurement and delivery planning to ensure successful construction and delivery outcomes.

I worked on the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines Programme of works to upgrade water supplies to remote and rural towns throughout WA. From 2001 to 2006 successfully delivered 65 projects to improve water treatment, pipelines and storage. Developed new procurement strategies for W.Corp as well as training and mentoring of junior staff.From 2007 onwards I worked as part of a team set up to deliver the SW Yarragadee Aquifer supply project. I then managed new major water source projects such as the Dandalup Trunk Main (up to construction), duplication of a section of Stirling Trunk Main and Ravenswood Transfer Pump Station. This was the largest and most complex pump station ever built in W.Australia, by volume the largest in the country. It was delivered on schedule and under budget. This pump station was required for the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant to provide water to the Perth Metro area.

I developed and implemented planned maintenance schedules for wastewater assets in Perth Region to make more efficient use of available budget.I identified operational replacement and capital works projects to be completed by Alliance contractors and also worked on reactive operational issues.
