·Control room operator of a 46 MW plant consisting of eight 5,800 kW diesel generators powering eight 3,800 kW thrusters aboard the Sevan Louisiana a ultra-deep water 6th generation DP3 semi-submersible drilling rig.·Charged with operating the Distributed Control System (DCS) inclusive of the power management system, emergency shutdowns (ESDs), fire and gas monitoring, bilge systems, ballast, fuel, HVAC, fresh water and salt water cooling, and propulsion systems. ·Supervise permit to work (PTW) system and insure compliance with the company’s safety management system (SMS).·Supervise operation of marine riser monitoring system (RMS), ROV operations, subsea acoustic positioning systems, and helicopter operations.·Responsible for maintaining vessel position, keeping all navigational charts and publications up to date and in order, and maintaining the integrity of the emergency communication equipment aboard. ·Communicating clearly, orally and in writing, with the other departments and the client to foster a culture of cooperation, collaboration, and safety among the team.·Work extensively with the maintenance system aboard to manage work orders, order parts, create jobs, and log equipment for tracking.

·Dynamic positioning operator aboard the McDermott Derrick Barge No. 50 a 4,400 MT heavy lift construction vessel.·Charged with supervision of the ship’s power management consisting of four 5,200 kW diesel generators and six 2,250 kW thrusters.·Responsible for maintaining vessel position, keeping all navigational charts and publications up to date and in order, and maintaining the integrity of the emergency communication equipment aboard. ·Supervise dual ROV operations during subsea construction, ballast control, heavy lift stability calculations, and helicopter operations.·Supervise permit to work (PTW) system and insure compliance with the company’s safety management system (SMS).

·Worked as a cargo control room operator/tankerman PIC aboard product and chemical tankers.·Supervised the loading/discharge of dangerous liquid cargo, ballast operations, tank pressure monitoring, tank cleaning, tank stripping, inert gas, cargo heating systems, vapor recovery, mooring, and anchoring.·Experience operating hydraulic and steam cargo pumps.·Sailed as a 2nd and 3rd mate, charged with voyage planning, managing navigational watches, keeping chart and publication inventories up to date, and managing navigational and associated bridge electronic equipment. ·Work extensively with the maintenance system aboard to manage work orders, order parts, create jobs, and log equipment for tracking.·Supervise permit to work (PTW) system and insure compliance with the company’s safety management system (SMS).·Worked as a union contractor with experience on the following ships: M/T Maersk Michigan, M/T Bro Hawaii, M/T Charleston, M/T Houston, M/T Sea Venture, M/T Seabulk Trader, C/S Global Sentinel.
