Assisted in project management such as; timeline creation, event planning and execution, delegation of tasks and work programs. Lead planner on Southern Scottsdale Community Area Plan; this involved planning and hosting public outreach events, developing public input analysis and research. In addition, authoring detailed existing conditions reports while providing professional planning recommendations and solutions. Develop goals, policies, and implementation programs for many planning levels which involve assessing the community's economic and social needs and desires while understanding government's roles and capabilities. Actively engage multiple community organizations and city departments including; transportation, economic vitality, current planning, human services, and public safety to develop cohesive long range planning documents that respond to specific needs and goals of the community and city. Conduct presentations to boards, commissions, citizen groups and stakeholders meetings. Develop and facilitate public participation events. Assistant Planner on Downtown Community Area Plan; this involved developing and assisting in public participation venues, analyzing public input and provide recommendations. Also conduct GIS analysis, assisted with plan content development (maps and graphics), and assisted in the creation of final plan layout. Primary GIS provider for the long range planning department which involved developing new datasets and providing complex analysis that was later added to the citywide GIS server.Provide detailed GIS Analysis on multi-faceted aspects of planning such as detailed land-use and area demographics. Analyses are used in forming community profiles, neighborhood profiles and to provide critical data for the eventual adoption of policy documents. Created professional maps and illustrations for publishing using ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products.
