Working in the household goods transportation industry and our goal is to ease the load for our clients! I knew that I loved accounting since I took my first accounting course in high school. I like the idea of organizing information into something meaningful. As I pursued my bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, I knew my career would be in the accounting profession. Therefore, I completed the CPA program and obtained the designation. The program greatly developed my problem solving, decision making, time management, and communication skills.I am always a number person, but what I like is more than just crunching numbers. I love working in a team and being able to contribute. It brings me great satisfaction seeing the team and the company grow with my involvement. Being a controller allows me to bring in my skill sets to the team. I am always looking for ways to improve efficiency. With the help of technology, I had improved the company inventory count process by 65%. Also, I build custom live reports utilizing excel query and formulas for different departments, which save them number of hours each week pulling data from the ERP system.Outside of work, I love to read, listen to music, watch musicals and practice yoga. These activities help me to relax my mind. For reading, business and personal development are always the type of books that grab my attention. These kinds of books not only help me to grow professionally, but also personally by providing me different insights, which lead me to think differently on things that happen in my daily life.
