• Prepare quotes for projects and analyze their profitability.• Understand and interpret the needs and requirements of customers.• Provide accurate and timely answers to technical questions from customers.• Create, update, and manage technical documents.• Ensure all technical specifications are accurate and comply with the required standards.

• Conduct electrical testing in line with Australian and International Standards (AS/NZS and IEC standards)• Analysis and recording of results in accordance with established policies and procedures• Assure the work quantity and quality by strictly adhering to methods and procedures• Ensure compliance to AS ISO/IEC 17025 & 17065 and other relevant quality programs• Ensure monitoring is completed as per the quality plan• Compile statistical data and write narrative electrical product (including air purifiers, chilled water fountain, switches, power boards, etc.) test reports including summarising quality assurance findings

• Develop a small inline environmental sensor that provides indications of gas flow, pressure, temperature, and humidity on a gas line feeding the “Spark test apparatus” laboratory equipment defined by AS/NZS 60079-11• Design an electronic schematic, printed circuit board, and housing utilising semiconductor-based sensor elements, that can record and display the data in real-time• Build, test, validate the sensor, and characterise its performance and accuracy• Ensure the electronic design developed is safe to be exposed to flammable gas mixtures and in turn is incapable of igniting the test gas• Assist other engineers with testing of Ex equipment and Ex components intended for use in explosive atmospheres based on national and international safety standards

• In-depth study of international product standards, and work with team members to participate in the formulation of test procedures and arrange testing for home appliances (including air purifiers, air coolers, portable fans, etc.) and motors based on international safety standards (IEC, UL and CSA standards)• Serve as a product testing project management technical expert and participate in customer product rectification• As a mentor to test technicians, guide product testing, provide technical support, and ensure that testing tasks are completed as planned and on schedule• Reviewe test data and reports, issue test reports, apply for certification and issue certificates• Communicate with clients on technical issues via phone and email
