As a dedicated member of the Jackson data architecture team, I bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data engineering groups to ensure seamless communication and understanding across all phases of data management. My role involves capturing and documenting essential business logic, designing robust data models, and producing analyses that drive strategic decisions across the organization.Leading a team of Strategic Support Associates, I guide our efforts in providing critical analytical support to the data architecture team and the broader Agile Release Train. Our work includes investigative analyses, comprehensive source-to-target data mappings, and various ad-hoc analytical tasks, all aimed at enhancing the integrity and utility of our data architecture.Noteworthy contributions and achievements include: • Playing a pivotal role in the management of the enterprise data model, ensuring its alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. • Developing a custom data quality solution that garnered approval from our Data Governance Council, marking a significant milestone in our quest for unparalleled data integrity. • Collaborating closely with Business Stakeholders and Data Engineering Teams to document and model financial professional licensing & appointment data, further enriching our Enterprise Data Model. • Establishing and managing a self-reliant team of Strategic Support Associates, designed to bolster the capabilities of Data Architects, Data Analysts, and Delivery teams through specialized support.My toolkit includes Erwin Data Modeler, Databricks, SQL, GitHub, PowerBI, JIRA, among others, enabling me to navigate and manipulate data with precision and creativity.At my core, I value the empowerment and enablement of others.
