He has owned several critical forward facing systems and was often the sole owner of these systems from design to final implementation. In addition Ryan is constantly cognizant of the state of the project. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to fix bugs and refactor large sections of code that have fallen into disarray. While covering these responsibilities he also has consistently jumped in and mentored the other engineers so they were better suited to work within Unity. During a pivotal part of a project, Ryan stepped up and assumed almost all major aspects of the front end application framework and systems. This included proving out a new back end solution and retrofitting nearly the entire application to hook into the new solution and to support a constantly evolving game framework. Last but not least, he worked with the Art department on a regular basis to not only improve the art within the game visually, but went out of his way to show them better processes to get their art into Unity. Ryan has also taken a very prominent role in the Engineering department in the absence of a Lead or Director. Ryan has consistently been the voice of the department and has led the charge in meetings both on and off the floor. That being said, he has also been very collaborative with his peers and has helped foster a positive team-based environment. In addition to all of these accomplishments, Ryan has continued to outperform all of the other engineers in amount of tasks completed and bugs fixed. Ryan has been an essential member of this team and has been an unquestionable contributor to the project and companies success."
