Ryan Waller received his Juris Doctor at Southwestern Law School. He has received the distinction of becoming a Dean's Fellow, a member of the Southwestern Journal of International Law, a Dean’s Merit Scholar, earning the Witkin Award for Excellence in Evidence, and joining the Trial Advocacy Honors Program (TAHP). He also works as the Teaching Assistant for Contracts, Sales, Criminal Procedure and Evidence and serves as the Research Assistant in the fields of Contracts, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence. Previously, Ryan served as intern/law clerk for the Hon. Harvey Silberman, Judge of the Superior Court, Pasadena, California. Duties while in this position included interfacing with pro per litigants to provide assistance (as appropriate) in the courtroom, and review of documents.This past summer, he has become an editor and contributing author for the upcoming release of a Family Law text book: "California Family Law, 8th Edition." He also has had the pleasure of working for Feinberg & Waller, A.P.C. as an intern/law clerk. Ryan developed a strong sense of determination, leadership, and communication from a young age. He helped form the Oaks Christian Mock Trial Team and participated in Speech and Debate for four years. In college, Ryan developed patience, strategy, and adaptability when he found a passion for Competitive Mixed Martial Arts (even making an amateur MMA debut), earning a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and going on to teach classes in self-defense and personal fitness at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA gym.
