I’m a quantity surveyor working as a Capital Allowances Manager for Leyton, specialising in capital allowances for the construction industry. In this role I analyse construction costs, carry out building surveys and complete detailed cost plans to calculate the value of capital allowances, maximising the tax relief on a project for our clients, enhancing their value for money. To date, I have worked on a range of multi-million pound commercial and industrial projects for high profile clients around the UK & Ireland gaining experience from a team of industry leading quantity surveyors.I completed a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, graduating with 2:1 degree classification. During my university job placement I was lucky enough to work as a placement cost consultant in Vancouver, Canada, for Altus Group, a leading global construction consulting services and professional advisory company.I’m an ambitious, hard-working employee who is always eager to complete any exercise efficiently and to the highest standard within a given time frame so that best value for money can be achieved.
