I was recruited to this position to transform Tulsa’s volleyball performance, program, and overall culture, prioritizing academic excellence, attitude, and competitiveness.Through concerted team effort and effective leadership I was able to successfully reverse the performance of this underperforming vertical and achieve all goals and initiatives outlined by management, cultivating a success-driven culture despite significant budgetary restrictions.Some of my accomplishments in this role include:- Implemented an academic culture and transformed team from the 12th to the top-ranked GPA on campus. Achieved conference recognition with the AAC Team Academic Excellence Award in 2020 for highest team GPA.- Successfully reached the 100+ win distinction in a top 10 conference in volleyball, representing one of the youngest Division 1-A Head Coaches to earn this honor.- Spearheaded the inaugural AAC Conference Championship as the President of American Athletic Conference Coaches for the 2019-2022 term.
