Responsible for development and optimization Solar micro-inverter manufacturing process (SMT,W/S, Box Assembly, Potting, Packaging),lead engineering team to standardize and systematize product process flow. 1, Process Management --Process development and standardization (PCB panel design, Fixture design, Profile Optimization, Documentation, UPH improvement etc) --Design for manufacturing analysis. --Proto-build process management with carry out, and support on each mass production. --Engineering Document management(ECO/MCO/ECN/TQCI/PFMEA/...) --Failure analysis with various experiment methods (X-section, Red-dye, EDX, C-SAM, etc.) --New Technologies assessment. (N2/PCBA Cleaning/Underfill/Potting etc) --New material assessment,validation.(solder paste/liquid flux/solvent...) --New equipment assessment (CPK, GR&R, etc) --Continuous process improvement. (DOE, SPC,FPY) 2, BU weekly engineering KOI(D/T,RTY, IDM/EDM cost) report and action plan. 3, BU engineering purchased order request review and approval(e.g. Request For Quotation/quick quotation of spare parts cost, tooling & fixture quotation). 4, BU Monthly engineering expenses report and improvement plan. 5, Review and updated work instruction/procedure Doc. 6, Resources arrangement to support production. 7, Lead the team to take a action to close the non-conformance for quality audit or customer's audit. 8, Lead the team do IKW(Internal Kaizen Workshop) for ETE productivity improvement.

Be owner of MFG engineering metrics including DFM, assembly tooling, production yield and capacity, engineering change implementation in CM factory. 1, Involvement with new product introduction phase to give the DFX(design for manufacturability, design for cost etc) feedback to R&D department. 2, Support prototype and NPI builds in EMS factory by MFG process validation (WI, tooling, capacity...). 3, Support prototype and NPI builds in EMS factory by monitoring material status & build plan. 4, Manufacturing capacity review including on assembly and testing, make sure meet the requirement of production ramp up. 5, Continuous support of mass production products with engineering change, raw material change, new part evaluations. 6, Drive Continuous improvement Program with CM for including quality yield improvement, efficiency improvement, process optimization, cost reduction etc 7, Follow related quality issues from EMS factory feedback, work with CM or SQE to solve problems. 8, Manage CM on sustaining of production engineering on PCBA, box build to reach the QCD(Quality/Cost/Delivery) goals.
