With over a decade of experience in leading and managing community-based programs and initiatives, I am passionate about engaging fathers, families, and communities for stronger child and family outcomes. As the former Head of School at The Academy At Belle, I provided direction and leadership for a diverse and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, social-emotional development, and cultural competence for preschool students and families.Prior to that, I served as the Community Resource Manager at United Way of Roanoke Valley and the Manager of Family and Community Engagement at Richmond Public Schools, where I developed and led strategic partnerships, outreach, and awareness campaigns to increase access and participation in early childhood education opportunities. I also coached Black fathers on how to unlock their God-given capacity to parent-in-purpose and advocate for their children's well-being and success. My mission is to reimagine the role of men and fathers within the systems that are responsible for child and family prosperity, and to influence policy, improve social determinants of health, and increase the representation of Black men in education and mentoring.
