As a Software Engineer for Boeing, I adapt to a variety of challenging and changing projects to meet customer requirements. Please check-out each project specific set of goals below. General duties of the job include: Software Coding, Software Design and Integration, and Project management.

Create a computer based learning tool to teach Control Room Trainees fundamental information about their new job. The project is being designed as a knowledge database, using XML for the prototype data storage. A key element is also quizzing and evaluating the trainees comprehension of material.Programming language used: C#• Develop training software in a scalable fashion executing the software lifecycles of: planning, requirement analysis, design & development, implementation, testing & integration, client evaluation, release to client.• Use Cases, Class Diagrams.• Weekly client evaluation/requirement meetings.• .NET 2.0, C#, Object Oriented Design with Model-View-Controller implementation.• XML files as data storage medium.• Streaming video from CD• Automated Testing using Visual Studio and Manual Functional Testing

As my second summer back, I worked on two projects SQS and a web application toolkit. General software engineering practices and techniques were applied. Specific information about both projects can be found in the project section.

* Analyzed current DBS system and data entry process* Developed an application to convert Schroeder DBS data files into excel spreadsheets, while filtering out unwanted data entries. Used: C#/Microsoft Office Excel/OpenOffice Calc

Worked on Spatial Query Server:• Developed C++ code to improve, maintain, and test SQS• Share ideas, and collaborate with others to improve SQS• Implemented a Wiki for internal documentation control

Developed company a website in PHP/MySQL/Linux. The website was the online corporate home for viewing office furniture, clearance sales, and sale person profiles. The website also included a custom Customer Relations Database which allowed the sales staff to save information and notes about clients to a database and receive notifications to follow-up with sales.• Designed and built company website (www.officesrus.com). Used: PHP/MySQL/CSS• Designed, developed, built, and tested company Client Relations Management (CRM). Used: PHP/MySQL/CSS/C#• Taught employees general computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook Express).• Setup a VPN (Virtual Private Network) between the warehouse and the office locations.• Designed and created brochures.
