    I founded the Algorithmic Trading Group (ATG) with my roommate, Sam Stone, in the Spring of 2017. Sam is a finance major with huge amounts of knowledge about market intricacies and inefficiencies, and he sought my technical skills in order to build an intelligent agent to trade cryptocurrencies - a new and emerging market space where we thought that we might have a chance to compete.The project ultimately failed - the code became too complex and I failed to pass the project off to new Marquette students. In the process, however, I learned a lot about managing a software team, designing a codebase from scratch, and making decisions about a technology stack.
