About Ryan Barry
Hey! I'm Ryan, I'm a sound designer for video games currently working with the incredible crew over at Lucid Games in my hometown of Liverpool. My aim is to help bring stories and virtual worlds to life through emotional, impactful and creative sound design. I'm always eager to learn and to pass on my own learnings to others, in an effort to constantly develop my skills and hopefully, help others around me to level up on their journeys as well.My strengths involve intimate knowledge of Wwise, FMOD, Unreal Engine, Unity, Lumberyard & CryEngine. I also have strong working knowledge working with a variety of DAWs such as: Reaper, Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton and Logic Pro X, as well as an abundance of 3rd party VST plugins. When I'm not making noises, you'll usually find me playing video games, sim racing, watching Motorsports, cooking, hanging out with friends/family and travelling.
