The Big Climb supports the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raising money through individual and team fundraising, sponsorship and entry fees. In 2015, the event raised a record $2.92 million for blood-cancer research and patient support services. The event achieved an 83% revenue growth since 2010-2012 when it only raised $1.6 million each year.
