I am a current student at the University of Missouri majoring in Personal Financial Planning. My goals in the professional world are to lead and inspire. In the future, I wish to be in a position that promotes honesty, leadership, and ingenuity. I hope to inspire others in my work and make a positive impact on those around me. In the past, I have held several leadership related positions and was elected president of the Student Leadership Council. While serving as president, I was overseeing over 900 students and help raise over $5,000 dollars for a scholarship fund. As president, I learned to have a strong work ethic to stay organized and on top of my responsibilities. Due to my leadership skills, I was able to land an internship at the International Institute. Within the internship, I was responsible for assisting in World Refugee Day, and planning the Festival of Nations (the largest multi-cultural festival in Saint Louis). There I learned to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint as well as managing many things at once.
