• Comprehensive Planning Project Manager/ Assistant Project Manager - includes stakeholder management and facilitation, goal setting for community development, and the writing and approval of formal documentation to regulate and codify policies on zoning, development, land use, transportation, utilities and housing. Greater Omaha Area

• Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Project Manager – included the facilitation, prioritization and management of the city’s annual CIP, which included schedules and financing plans for capital projects, equipment purchases, and major studies for the municipality. Also included was management of the cities Annexation Plan. Working under guidance from the Mayor’s office, this role required the coordination and facilitated cooperation of the city’s Planning, Public Works and Finance departments. • Reviewed and provided guidance on area site and development plans to ensure compliance with zoning guidelines and the City of Omaha Comprehensive Master Plan.• Reviewed tree mitigation projects as they were presented for development approval. • Coordinated and directed public meetings for various projects or groups that consist of internal and external stakeholders, such as the Urban Land Institute.

• Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant Project Manager – included managing projects and reporting for grant funding for the City of Omaha’s new Sustainability Office of Sustainable Development. Managed $4.2 million dollars in programs such as the coordination, research, and writing for the City of Omaha’s Comprehensive Energy Management Plan, which outlined the first energy profile and Green House Gas inventory for the City. • Researched and wrote grant-funding applications for the Office of Sustainable Development.• Represented the Office of Sustainable Development in research and comprehensive city planning efforts including research, policy planning, zoning codification, and stakeholder and committee representation on regional planning efforts.

• Opened and operated regional e-waste recycling facilities in Denver, Colorado Springs, CO, and Omaha, NE. This role included: Business development, stakeholder outreach and community engagement.
