I'm a biology major (concentration of cell and molecular) and chemistry minor at California State University, Sacramento and I intend to become a teacher when I graduate. I also have interest in conducting research, and I'm particularly intrigued by neurochemistry and other sub-disciplines of biochemistry. Devising good research questions and conducting lab work that aims to solve difficult problems and requiring a high degree of precision excites me!I've taken lots of courses in biology, chemistry, and math, and I have experience in the education sector as a college tutor, private music instructor, and former volunteer elementary school tutor/mentor. I'm always pursuing new experiences and opportunities in the field of education, and I enjoy meeting and working with new students - especially when I get to teach them or help them learn science!
