More of a consultant now, and one of a handful of people in the world that still have working knowledge of the high-speed 35mm & 16mm film cameras. This specialty required me to teach several crews across all production departments the unique nuances and on-set protocol needed for a successful shoot day. Provided DIT responsibilities to maintain my image along with other cameras on set, on-set colorist, dailies, and knowledge of other camera's color science for matching. Over the years, I’ve worked side-by-side with the best cinematographers known, or unknown; consciously observing and learning from them. I have been able to excel in my other job titles by understanding the techniques of cinematography, the gear, the set etiquette, and even production politics. My passion for manipulating light and the image within the camera has led me to win awards by being able to successfully match the correct emotional response and reaction to the shot.
