Partners for Rural Transformation is led by a steering committee made up of six Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) that serve three-quarters of the country’s persistent poverty counties.As an Advocacy & Intern for Partners for Rural Transformation, I collected, cleaned, and organized large-scale datasets relating to rural housing and health. Additionally, I used Microsoft Excel and Power BI for statistical analysis and data visualization to inform PRT's advocacy agenda. Finally, I created comprehensive written reports analyzing legislation relating to rural America at the local, state, and federal level.

Founded in 1979, the mission of Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) is to provide a comprehensive array of social welfare and community development services to assist low income individuals and other persons in need, contribute to community revitalization and cultural preservation in Little Tokyo and among the broader Japanese community in the Southland, and to provide such resources to neighboring Asian Pacific Islander and other low income communities.As an intern for the Homeless Services Department of the Little Tokyo Service Center, I assisted the housing navigation team with their on-the-street case-working and wrote a 50+ page research brief on the conditions of unhoused Asians and Pacific Islanders in Los Angeles. Currently, I am overseeing a needs assessment for LTSC that aims to better understand the needs of unhoused Asians and Pacific Islanders.
