Katec employed a class of 6 students at Old Dominion University to compile marketing research and create point-of-sale marketing advertisements to launch a new campaign attempting to bring Aerosolv to after market automotive parts stores to incentivize customers to bring in their used aerosol cans and recycle them.My teammates and I's responsibilities included:-Creating point-of-sale marketing advertisements and aerosol carrying cases to encourage customers to bring back in their recyclable aerosol cans to eliminate an entire RCRA waste stream through the depressurization and recycling of aerosol cans. The items we produced included a 2x8inch infographic card, a 6 pack carrying case with branded stickers, an Aerosolv Shelf Talker, an Aerosolv Retailer Infographic, and Aerosolv Customer Infographic. -Ran marketing research study through "Hop's Place," an automotive repair store located in Hampton, VA to measure how many aerosol cans were recycled using the Aerosolv Recycling unit located in the shop and reported the findings to Katec industrial. -My team wrote an Aerosolv Press Release Article that was published within trade publications that included "Keep Hampton Roads Beautiful" and various ODU publications.
