Duties included:• Oversaw and planned the preparation of the first team squad with a full pre-season schedule in line with requirements from manager and team.• Established the philosophy of playing for the season along with Management team with structured pre-season sessions, team meetings, and paper examples of patterns of play expected from players.• Ensure players were focused and ready for games by implementing new pre-match routine including warm up, tactical specifics and team talk. • Delivery of training sessions to the team on my own or along with Assistant manager, implementing opposition-specific drills while simultaneously working to facilitate each player’s progression. • Oversaw and planned the preparation of the first team squad for games in line with upcoming fixture schedule, player development strategy and club philosophy. • Individual 1-2-1 sessions with players if and when required by Manager for continuous player development.• Working with Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver a competitive team within a tight budget, attracting players to the squad to try to strengthen first 11. • Scouting opposition teams and players providing match reports and analysis to Manager and Assistant Manager.• Worked as Assistant Manager for opening 11 games due to absence of Assistant Manager for various reasons. Record: Played 11, Wins 5, Draws 2, Loses 4 including cup and league games. Gathered 17 league points and sat 3rd in the league table.• Left to join Mark Stimson at Thurruck FC as his Assistant Manager with the club 3rd in Ryman North League.
