Hi I'm Ryan, and I am a recent graduate from the A. James Clark Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Maryland. My job experience is limited but I have experience working in both large and small companies, and interacting with clientele of all different ages. However, many of my school projects have been far more related to my career interests than my jobs, since produce stocking and being a camp counselor have limited role similarities to an engineering position.Throughout my high school and college coursework and electives, I have created or collaborated on several projects incorporating mechatronic systems: a line-following robot with a custom EAGLE printed circuit board, a color based marble sorter, a hovercraft, and a PCR thermocycler. Additionally, I am currently collaborating with a group of students to produce a lightweight portable electric solar generator designed for backpackers.In the near future, I look forward to career experiences which will expand upon the fundamentals I have learned and help me transition from student to the workplace.
